My Home
Town
The name of my home
town is Magura. It is a district town. It is under Khulna division. It stands on the river
Naboganga. In 1984 it was turned into a district. It is only 120 kilomitres
north-east of Khulna.
Its area is 1049 square kilomiters. About 1 million people live in this town.
The district consists of one municipality, four upazilas, 36 union, and 700
village. There are some interesting places in and around this small town. The
town is very attractive. The people of the town are peace loving and
hospitable. I am very proud of my home town.
